I am truly honored and privileged to write to you this letter of recommendation for Kim. It has been my great pleasure to have Kim as a vocal/piano instructor for my 11 year old daughter over the last several years.
I have personally spent time searching for the best qualified individual to teach my child. It was important for me to find a special person to help enrich my daughter’s musical/vocal abilities and bring out the best of her personality. I have indeed found such a person in Kim. It takes patience, experience and dedication to your field to teach in such a creative and motivating way, as she has aptly done with my child.
Kim is intelligent, conscientious, and highly motivated in all of her numerous endeavors. She recently attended the local university where she was seeking a degree in music, while meticulously holding down several different jobs along the way. ... On many occasions I personally have had the opportunity to witness her piano/vocal abilities from various performances which have left me breathless and since then have become a huge fan of her many talents.
While it is truly apparent that Kim possesses a vast body of knowledge in her field, it has been her passion and her great ability to connect with students and their families, which I have been most impressed with. Over the course of the last several years, my daughter and I have grown quite close to Kim, and I am proud to call her my friend.
